Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi bleez!! That's a really good take! The riffs sound perfect! You just need to work a bit more on the lead guitar section. Try to make it sound smoother, and also pay attention to the bend because it doesn't reach the correct pitch. When the melodies starts it seems that your guitar is a bit out of tune, so check the higher strings.
By the way the overal is good! Keep on rocking!

Great take man! Indeed the lead part was a bit shakier than the rhythm one which came out very nice, but hey, a bit of focused slow practice will most likely get ya there. Also, as Gabe said pay attention on the pitches and tuning wink.gif

Hey Cap'n !

Nice work on the groove.. the rhythm's tight as anything smile.gif

Lead could be smoother.. I can see some awkwardness related to co ordination between the hands but that's all I think it is. Could do with getting your left hand and picking into synch a bit. You don't have to suddenly become an alt. picking freak and go all Paul Gilbert but a couple of weeks of extra focus in that area should yield results quickly and let you nail the stuff that you want to be able to do smile.gif

You did a great job!!! Very well done on the riff! The solo section is a little shaky but I think if you will practice this lesson a little longer it will sound brilliant! It sounds insecure and doesn't flow very smoothly so I think by playing this lesson through daily for a bout a week you will get it together! 9 from me! Keep it up!
