GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ Another Christmas Thread!

Hey guys! This part of the year is very intense for many people, some people feels very happy some other feel melancholic and maybe sad... I personally enjoy Christmas, but I must say that I feel a bit different than in the past since my parents separated because we have to divide the family and the situation makes you remember old happy days... I like the spirit of Christmas, the happy part, but I don't like people going crazy and nervous in the streets because of the gifts, the dinner, so I have different feeling about this part of the year but in the end I like and enjoy it.
What about you? How do you feel? Do you enjoy it?

I can relate to this. My parents split when I was younger and then I started to dislike the holiday's being torn between going here or there. Now I have kids of my own so the holidays are much better, I try to focus on them and not on the negative. What is christmas like in Argentina? Do you mean going crazy buying gifts on black friday kinda thing? I don't like how crazy people get about shopping either.

Honestly speaking, I don't like the craziness either and I hate being alone... I am going through a strange period - I somehow can't find my peace. All I hope is that these holidays will come with a little peace of mind for me.

Oh, you have to write it down on your list of wishes for Santa!
And I hope your wish come true!!!
On one hand I hate the craziness because of the gifts and the dinner, too. But on the other hand it`s difficult not getting CRAZY if YOU are Santa for the kids and host for the whole family. But I love making gifts and all the traditionals!
Btw: I invite you all to some cockies and coffee ( or hot spiced wine?
)
I`ve just baked some:

I googled this word, it told me it was either a 'hen party' or a 'coffee party'...... both of those are quite different from each other
... also I definitely want some of those guitar cookies
