How could be that one of the greatest bands ever didn't have a thread on this forum!?.
Well, now it has!

For the ones that don't know Mr. Big, it's the Paul Gilbert band after Racer X. In the line up is, in my opinion, the best rock bass player, Billy Sheehan. Eric Martin has a such great and unique voice and Pat Torpey has this ability to make seem easy things that are not.
An incredible band that you all should know. And they are back!!. So, I hope too see them live soon. And hope you all can see them live too, because, personally, I like more live Mr. Big's cds than studio's ones

I was not aware so I checked out a video. I loved this one.

So I went to look for more and found, Free doing a song titled, Mr. Big. Check out how mellow Ted Nugent is in the early years. edit: I was way off on this. Not Ted, corrected by whitesnake below.
It is Paul Kossoff now deceased. shame!

Did you see the effect that PG use on the main riff after the first chorus?. I'm still trying to figure out what kind of pedal it is. Besides that, it's awesome

yeah, awesome band, I like P.G´s era more than Ritchie Cotsen´s tongue.gif
a simple band formed by complicated guys tongue.gif

anyways, sometimes it more difficult to get a good song that a shreddy tune wink.gif

I spelled my username wrong...I didn't even think that was possible!

Look at the topic for my guitar...
Finished Guitar Build

Gear:
Homemade strat (You still need to look at its topic!)
Squier strat (probably going to get rid of it and get another guitar instead) :)
Line 6 spider amp (not actually used for anything, just acts as a speaker)
Digitech Gnx2 (kind of old, but cheap, and sounds amazing!)

Although, on this video (Daddy, Brother... live 2009), the singer (Eric Martin) sounds a bit out of shape... I'm sure he can get back though!
I'm playing this song with my band too and it's definitely not an easy one to sing smile.gif
