Well, So I've really been meaning to really start taking guitar more serious lately. So I can get in a band and stuff.

But, I just don't really know where to start.

And around here there are no, guitar teachers that are really into the solo music instrumental stuff that I would love to get into. They are all just cover attics, which gets quite boring.

But do you think webcam lessons compare to the real thing?

I'm thinking about doing them through a guy named Dave Weiner professional guitarist and has a solo album out and stuff, and I really dig his music, right up my ally. And I think he will be a huge inspiration.

Probably going to do 2 1 hour lessons a month.

I think you should tell us - we'd love to hear how it works out, if it is like having a real instructor, if it is useful in addition to GMC, or if you would just want to give up GMC to do this (I know, I know, unlikely smile.gif)

Let us know how it works out!

Sure, waiting for an email back from him then we are going to set up the dates.

Would never give up GMC, its the best! ITs cheap, great instructors, and great quality lessons, for 10 bucks a month. I think I could spare that for a good while.

I think it's a great idea, if you have a very good webcam and hi speed internet, there will be really not so much difference, I offer webcam lesson with skype, msn and other websites, and never had problems...so go for it, and let us know your experience with Dave!

Yep.

Anyone know what the best bang for your buck webcam is? Any recommendations are appreciated.

People are always saying that if you play the guitar slowly you'll play with more feeling. What a load of old cobblers! As far as I'm concerned you're a wuss if you can't play at least 64 notes in each and every bar. And furthermore, every song should have no less than 127 chord changes, 11 time signatures, 12 key key changes plus a tempo ranging from 10 to 500 bpm. Singers should be banned, drummers should only speak when spoken to, bass players shouldn't talk at all, and keyboardist should be forced to repeat the mantra "The guitarist is always right" continuously every day. It's the only way to ensure that music will truly evolve and save mankind from eternal damnation...and 12-bar blues.

Cool quote Joe! ohmy.gif Did you made up that urself? ohmy.gif
