Check this guy out.
Even though he has like 3 tons of reviews on I believe every piece of gear on his channel he also happens to be guitar teacher - im this lesson he teaches (for me) totally unknown technique:D What do you think? I played this 10 years ago Yngwie Malmsteen introduced it. Check his "Echo Etude". You need to set your delay on the 3/4 of the beat with only 1 repeat and you have to play in exact tempo. That's how you get that.

Emir is right. This kind of technique Yngwie has been using it live I think since early 90's.

Yes a pedal can be used, but I believe doing it this way is more fun

this is awesome, but wouldn't it be 10x easier to play stuff thats even more technical if you had a pedal? Try it with pedal but I think it'll be actually a lot harder that way. -------------------- Youtube
