Wrote My First Pop Song, With Ringmodulator Git. solo

Feb 25 2013, 01:46 PM	GMC:er Posts: 180 Joined: 6-September 11	I woke up sunday morning with a chord progression in my ear. I started my computer and recorded the whole song in 2 hours. When I was done mixing it sounded so .... poppy that I had to add some noise. Two days ago my new Ringthing form ElectroHarmonix had arrived and the day before I had bought a modulation pedal. So there I had my ringmod noise (at 2:23). Still too poppy for me but thats how I heard it. Maybe that was in my ear somehow. However that Gmajor7 /G over E etc. progression was in my ear and really nagging me. So it needed to be explored and recorded. If Freddy did it this way it cant be too wrong. Anyway yes I will work a bit more on the vocals if I ever find some time. I am always sloppy with recording. I do everything one shot only. And I hate overdubbing. It somehow lets me be more focused but it also sounds crappy. Or adds atmosphere : Often it is hit or miss. This sounds like anything that we could hear at the radio. It's pop but sounds very modern for me. Great job! One of the new songs by Cirse appeared in a dream! I was sleeping and the cellphone alarm started to sound, instead of hearing the song (that was by Blink 182), I started to hear Cirse's song finished in my dream.
