Awesome progress mate! It's impressing to compare both takes. Your playing has improved in many senses. Not only your legato and hybrid picking are much more consistent. Your groove and dynamics have improved a lot! Congrats!

There is some room to continue polishing this one, but it would really pass on REC program.

Are you going to share it there or work a bit more?

Ok! smile.gif

I checked the Guitar Pro thread and the problem was already explained by many GMCers there.

You need to learn a bit of music notation in order to write the right amount of figures on each measure. You can start here: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Beat-Basics/

Hi Gab

Cael helped me very much... Now, I know GP rules.
Problem was "fraction notes" in one bar. My fisrt bar was composed with more notes ex : 6,25/4
Now my first tab is good . It isn't perfect but with practising, I should improving my skill.

About lessons - I work :
"Open string pull-off"
"Rock essentials #1" - Dynamic and tone are the difficulty with this one.

I should make a REC "open string pull-off" today.
I tried last week end but without succes. Always an error somewhere.
Today I'm feel good.. wait and see

Edit : I did it

That's a very consistent take mate! As this is a very rocker lesson, I would like to see you playing it with a more rocker attitude. Try to add more dynamic variation while strumming and picking, to give some chords more importance. Try to relax your right hand and body and move a bit with the rhythm due to give this one more groove and feel.

Other than that, your playing is very good. Tight and clean. Good job!

Hi Gab

I should make an other take for "open string".
I don't understood all com, REC incluing 2 part isn't good ok.

About "Rock essential". I continue my work.

I know. I may seem frozen, but that’s the way I live.
I can’t go unnatural to look like a rocker or a metal guitarist.
I am 50 years old. I'm old school and a bit academic but that does not prevent me to love the guitar.
Maybe I should stop exposing myself. I feel like I’m always reading the same comments.

A lot of questioning tonight, maybe my bad character made in france.
I don't know

Yes, REC takes must be unedited videos. That's how it works.

You don't need to look or move like a rockstar to master a lesson, but sometimes exaggerating movements (moving your head, tapping with you foot) can help to get two elements that I feel your take is lacking: dynamics & groove. Please take my feedback as positive, I don't intend to offend you at all. I'm here just to give you honest feedback to keep on improving as a guitarist.

On a side note, don't miss my new course:

Hi mate! These sweeps are sounding very clean!! Good job! You just need to adjust a bit timing since they sound a bit rushed, but not too much. You are VERY close.

Congrats!!
