Anyone know if Slash recorded the first two extended solo's with the Marshall Jubilee for a fact? I see that many of the line6 pod tones use the jubilee but I was curious if there is any truth to it..

Love the tone.

Not sure, but the sound is close with what you would achieve with regular heads, so I guess it's not important if the Jubilee or normal head is modeled. Jubilee in essence was the same head, just had more features and better cosmetics.

Ahh, thanks for the info Ivan. I always thought the Jubilee would have a more distinct sound

It possibly has a distinct sound, but I'm not sure how distinct it would be when you think about it. It's just their normal Marshall EL34 tone, inside is the same, they only hot rodded it so it has more drive (probably with diodes too), and added some features (that are excellent btw). I think it has similar sound from what you would find in early JCM800 series, but with more drive.
