Check out Eden Nemesis bass combos - they sound really really good.
Something like this (you should be able to find them cheaper): http://www.grabcart.com/product/ele/amfmra...0ede/Eden-RS210 Also Ampeg B115 is a really good bass combo amp. http://www.amazon.com/Ampeg-BA115-BassAmp-...r/dp/B0002D04JC -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

Depends what type of sound you are after. For modern hi-fi tone, I also recommend Nemesis, you cannot go wrong with it. I recommend you get separate head and cab tho.
Getting more cabs wouldn't be bad idea in general, definitely 15 and 2x10 for optimal sound, that is minimum for serious bass players. If you cannot afford any bass rig for now, I've always considered Fender Rumble series great for what they cost. Getting any Rumble combo won't hurt your budget, and it's pretty cool amp, great for first bass amp, practicing and even gigging, why not. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE

Fender Rumble has a very sweet and modern sound. Its kinda bright and crispy sounding and you can dial in very good sounds (especially for slap style because of brightness). 100 w with a 1x15 speaker will do a great job at home and at some practice rooms. Though if you plan to play gigs with it get a stronger then 100watts one, possibly with 2x10 speakers like this one (its a beast): http://bass-guitars.musiciansfriend.com/pr...-Amp?sku=584203 Regarding Hartke, their amps sound great and heads are pretty cheap. You could possibly fit in a hartke rig in the price instead of the combo??? -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

The Hartke amps are amazing!! not sure how they can put such good quality in cheap products I played on this Hartke head and it sounded amazing. Price is really awesome too and cheap for its quality and sound. You could make a rig like this : Head: http://www.zzounds.com/item--HTK2500 Cab: http://www.zzounds.com/item--HTKVX410 It would be a killer rig! -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net
