Hey Muris! You are awesome!! I hope to play like you someday biggrin.gif

I have a question...if you can understand me wink.gif

What kind of picks are the best to play fast alternate picking?? Heavy, extra heavy, medium??
My guitar´s teacher said to me "use 2 mm picks" ....is just for confort or there are picks that works better on fast things??

Thanks Muris!!!

Cheers,
Mariano

Hi smile.gif

Seems like your teacher is my type of player since I use 2.0mm and up wink.gif
But there's no sort of rule for that,I prefer heavy gauge while
many players claim that it's faster with thiner, who can tell for sure smile.gif

QUOTE ("Steve Vai")
Start by playing something - a bend, a riff, a scale, a song - very slowly; if you make a mistake, start over; do this over and over, until you can play it flawlessly - and I do mean flawlessly - many times in a row. Next, gradually increase the tempo. Eventually you'll be flailing like a madman.
