So, I did a guitar and vocal cover of In My Darkest Hour by Megadeth. I'll post the guitar only version here. There are some mistakes and moments of me not being tight enough because had to stop playing to record to a different track on the DAW. Need to get around that. It's much easier if everything's in a flow.

Tell me how much I suck laugh.gif

Here are the guitars I used to record

I love my Vs biggrin.gif The Jackson is panned on the right and the ESP on the left.

Super congrats on your recording! It sounds like you are playing over top of the original track yes? I can hear some separation between the original and your playing. There is just a slight lag that you may need to tighten up to make it sound smoother. I like your tone on this!

The embed didn't work, because you have the track set to PRIVATE but the link still works smile.gif

Wow very cool version of this track, your sound is super present and dynamic - with killer high end. Well done!

Thanks a lot guys! Your words mean so much. But, I can't shred tongue.gif I think I really lack the discipline to learn to shred, and there's so much info and stuff out there it's just an ocean of madness. Don't know where to really start.
