Hey guys,
Here is my acoustic cover of famous Canon Rock Hope you like it and waiting your comments Especially from you Brandon, you come to my mind first when somebody says Canon Rock
Cheers,
Dogukan.
Nice version! I can feel some Friedman's Scenes vibes .
Nice work This is a great piece of music to work with. Just some recording tips,
*Try using a compressor when recording clean guitar (It will help keep the volume even and smooth out peaks and valleys)
*Try doubling your rythm and even lead parts and panning them left and right (it can add thickness and realism if done well, but if you play it differently it can sound a bit wonky)
*Try using an actual accoustic guitar/classical guitar if you can get hold of one (adds new tone layer and sounds spiff)
You can record this piece 100 times and learn something new about it each time. Keep it up!
Sounds very nice man, I like the second part with sixteenths Very nicely done.
Thanks guys! Glad you liked it And thanks for tips Todd
Nice cover, and Todd has given you good advices !
Hey! I got your message on YouTube! Thanks for sharing! It's cool how you think of me when you hear Canon Rock.
I think of Trond Vold. I wish he would come back as an instructor. He hasn't been active in a while.
