Hey guys,

Ive had my eyes on BFD2 for a long time, and finally i decided to go and buy it today, and im very happy i did.
It's a little pricey, but the sound is amazing. It takes up 55gb of hardisk space so i had to clean up a bit biggrin.gif
5 dvd's took about 1 hour then installation was complete, everything was smooth.

Anyway i havent tested it to the full yet, but i put together a few recordings using it so you have an idea how it sounds. I havent tweaked anything just standard presets. I can recommend it if your going for the realistc acoustic drum sound.

Have a listen

Attached File  Drum_Test.mp3 ( 1.87MB ) Number of downloads: 512
yehaaaaw biggrin.gif

Attached File  just_drums.mp3 ( 849.66K ) Number of downloads: 407
just playing around on keyboard

Thanks Paal, i used a sample from an etnic libary for this one. I'm getting the hang of BFD2 slowly and it really proves to be worth it, loads of tweaks and settings to get just that sound your looking for smile.gif

Here is a little more detailed example of the drums, made a riff on the guitar and then build the drums to fit it, i think this is a nice example of the acoustic feel theese drums can provide cool.gif

I don't like it too much because, it gives you raw recorded real drum sound, that is cool for an engineer that will work on it and make it sound like a record, with compression, eq filtering etc., but difficult to handle for a medium user, instead I prefer Addictive Drums, that unify realistic drum sounds and editing with all you need, eq filter, limiter comp. reverb etc everything already set-up and with different preset
