Fretbuzz, on the high E, 9th fret only?

This is driving me nutz! I have a bad fretbuzz on the high E only pressing on the 9th fret?

I adjusted my neck nice and straight. All the other strings play great. Now I have to have the bridge real high to compensate for the buzz.

Any ideas anyone?

Check if the 10th fret is in good level with others, with ruler or something straight

If you're really really sure that your neck is perfect and your action is set properly the problem is as Dejan said.
But be aware that the neck sometimes has to be a little bowed (that's the perfect setting acording to Erlewine).

I have the same problem with some of my guitar, and from my experiences with this at other guitars I've had it's usually the fret one fret higher, as some have mentioned.

Yea. It was annoying. HAd it since I bought it off craigs list. I didn't bother me but know I have been practicing the routine now it was really bad.

But Im glad I traded it in. I wanted the hellraiser to begin with! smile.gif

So it was a super easy fix! smile.gif
