I was visiting my parents from Friday to Saturday this weekend, and I came to the conclusion that my old Yamaha, which I haven't played for ages, is a killer guitar. It's a little different to my normal guitar, especially regarding the neck, which is thinner than my regular guitar. Besides that, it has the lowest action I have EVER seen on any guitar. It's really unbelievable that there is no buzzing, when you could literally just stare at the fret you want to play and the string would touch it. Strange metaphore, I geuss, but I'm really amazed by this!

It doesn't have the best pick ups, but they're alright I geuss. It doesn't have a floyd rose either, which I at first thought was quite dull, but this guitar makes up for it in so many other ways.

First, here's a picture of the beauty:

And then here's some playing:

I'm not 100% familiar with the chord changes in the backing track, so bear with me on some bad notes.

I don't know if they still produce it, but it wasn't that expensive when I bought it. I don't know the specs either, but they work for me! happy.gif

Guitar looks good and I liked how it sounds in the video clip. Action is very important to me, I also remember playing one yamaha that had that ultra low action which I didn't find on other guitars and one I had at the time.

Like the Cabo Wabo resort founded in ... I'm gonna guess 1992; might've been later. Anyway, that's what the inlay is about. I think they make a cabo-brand of tequila there as well.

But would I not need to fill in a few holes then? I'm pretty sure I would have wires coming out to strangle me if I took it off. I seem to remember that.
