Still trying to build the perfect analog effects chain and reckoned that a Tube Screamer would help me get the right distortion - I tried a DS1 and a BD before and neither were quite right so lets see how this beauty performs!

Of course smile.gif I want to use it with my amp to switch between a rhythm and lead kind of sound. Of course I'll need a new amp as well - maybe its time to think about the AC2!

Wow, looks like an awesome overdrive there Andrew, and it's "Used by Steve Vai, DAN SPITZ/ANTHRAX, John Petrucci"... I bet it sounds good, a little video would be great once you get it in your hands smile.gif

Those are great pedals Andrew!!
The other Guitarist in one of my Bands used one and I used to mess around with it at rehearsals!
Just using it and my Peavey Renown and nothing else was an awesome combination with my G&L Asat!!!

How about a review for the Wiki?

I'm also using an Ibanez tube scramer, but an other model and it sounds wonderfully. Very good stuff. Good decision. smile.gif smile.gif

Just entertaining the prospect now that this topic has been brought up. I haven't played with pedals for a long time apart from the occasional use of a wah. I decided that I couldn't live with the noise and artificial sounds that pedals seemed to offer and went for a full rack setup instead. How would something like a modded TS9 sit before my Triaxis preamp? Overkill?

That's a legendary pedal! Congrats Andrew! smile.gif It would be cool to see a video demo of it once you get it (and possibly review!) smile.gif
