I think the original poster's intent was one's favorites. It was not real clear, but I would say so. So whatever they said is true. Those are their favorites. I think that you ranked them in terms of their contributions, which has to be view in the context of their time. I would say Beatles on top, Zeppelin 2nd, after that it gets tough. One guy put Green Day. I like listening to their "International Hits" CD while exercising. So I like it. But not an original bone in Green Day's body. Actually there is a lot of Buddy Holly in Green Day, he died in 1957 I believe, but he still lives on today in music if you have the ear to hear it.

Everybody copies. Issac Newton said he only accomplished what he did because he stood on the shoulders of giants. But to really do something creative, it involves a synthesis of a number of ingredients that really make a good cake. Listen to John Lennon singing Twist and Shout. Man he had a voice back then. But listen to Little Richard. And you know where that came from. One of the several ingredients that got mixed up to create what was the Beatles. Until another band makes all the women in the audience scream and cry hysterically, turn beet red, rip at their hair, wet their pants, or even faint, I refuse to feel that they have outdone the Beatles.

Hard choices to make

1. Black Sabbath
2. The Doors
3. Ozzy Osbourne
4. Pink Floyd
5. Led Zeppelin
6. NOFX
7. Van Halen
8. Nirvana
9. Queen
10. Iron Maiden

Any of those bands could easily be swapped with others, or rearanged. Depends on what mood I'm in really.

It was really hard choosing what bands, and its not in 100% "correct" order. There are still alot of others bands/artists I want to put on that list tongue.gif

They changed it because of the copyright issues! Some other guy copyrighted that name "Rhapsody" years ago! So they came to a deal so they didn't have to pay or anything - they solved it the nice way!

Anyway - it's not about the name - it's all about the music! But the new name still rocks!

You like paul gilbert and buckethead! smile.gif Don t you think paul gilbert is buckethead??LOL,i know, it s pretty weird but who knows?? laugh.gif Try to compare those two videos, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W744PD_1NSc and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqrFesMGtvA
in the first video, (at 00:34seconds) paul plays a lick that sounds the same as buckethead's lick in the second video(at 00.09 seconds) tongue.gif . And i notice they hold the pick exactly at the same way! What a coincidence! lol, there are many other things i can say( they re both very tall^^) but i m gonna stop myself there!(Shame on me! lol)
