The idea is put a video with the specific technic + the material to study that technic. For example i was impressed when i saw a guitar clinic by Tosin Abasi. He plays in 8 strings guitar and he developed a great thumb technic to play slap and new sounds. Have you thought about things in this way? Usually, we waste a lot of time working on techniques we seldom use instead of polishing those that really represent us and that we really need to use in our playing and natural abilities.
