lol no but we've done it to amplify a small mp3 player speaker, don't know where all the mikes went at that time but that was a cool scout solution ... so yes, kind of

I was yelling into the pickup and it was being heard on the amplifier, add some delay and reverb, on hi-gain settings, and it sounds like a Godzilla

i'll have to try it. My phone has pocket-called before...I was playing guitar with headphones and the pickups picked up the answering machine.

I've tried it before but not with a loud, cranked amp... I'm going to have to do it now !

It works if you put a cell phone up to the pickup and have the person talk through the pickup.

I used to have a small electronic thing that made noises like Bombs and Guns, i used to use it live sometimes like that!!

If you crank the amp, and then get your pickups near any device that uses power (or often even batteries), you will hear the machine talk
