hi guys are you know some free program to help me convert the Video -Ts format do diferent format{avi,mpg}or something else

my friend is totaly bad with using pc and he ask me to put something on youtube..actualy i'm have windows movie maker but he is not work with Video Ts..and i'm aslo try to download trial version of vegas movie studio but i'm afraid the program aslo don't work with Video Ts and is hard for me to use him

http://zamzar.com/ Free online file conversion. I do not know what -Ts format is but it might work for you.

the program looks good but converting free file just to 100mb Video_TS is video made from camcorder
but thanks man anyway

Video_TS isnt a format in that sense.. it's just a directory structure for the DVD's the camcorder uses
Do you have .VOB files somewhere in there aswell?

if im go to video file and click to propety then i'm see that mesage about the video VTS_01_4

and if i'm put this on Movie maker i'm see this message

e file C:\Documents and Settings\Besip.RENE-21ECCD225A\My Documents\My Videos\PERSONAL\Mou-Ufc 2\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_4.VOB is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker.

For best results and to have something to work with, you have to convert the VOB files to AVI or MPEG.

Check out http://www.vcdhelp.com for all sorts of conversion guides and free tools to use.. there's quite a number of them. But my fav is Gordian Knot and DVDDecrypter. Auto Gordian Knot is probably easier at first sight though.

Thanks Trond to caring me actualy the your favor program asking me for some update which cost some money
i'm found out now 1 program with name MediaCoder and looks like thats work..will see later

funny part of this is becouse i'm Czech guy so i'm change the the language to czech but i'm dont understand nothing so i'm have to go back to english
