Hey guys, Here is a new mix I came up with. Its completely different from the last one, a lot more fine tuning, and I am finally happy with my custom drum kit in Steven Slate Drums that I used it a song. Let me know what you think of pretty much everything about the mix, guitars, bass, drums, cymbal placements in the panning, instrument levels, Just anything you think I can improve upon! smile.gif

I think it's not bad at all. The only thing that I think it sounds way too agressive is drums. The snare drum especially. Try to extract the snare drum separately on some audio track and add some reverb or maybe change the sample completely. Also when you program drum fills on snare drum with fast 16th triplets it sounds like a machine gun with no dynamics at all. You need to set the velocity for each stroke. They cannot be all with the same amount of attack. That's how you can recreate a bit of a human feeling. The first hit is always louder that the others. But the rest of the song sounds pretty good. I like it

+1 on You here Emir, I think the drums need to sit back a little in the mix, maybe also a little bit lower in level, not the cymbals/hats though. I will also suggest to filter out some low frequencies on the guitars, especially on the heavier part - since its muds up with the bass, eg. under 2-300 Hz, there should just be drums & bass. Otherwise I think it sounds very good, You really improved it since the last take on this one!!! smile.gif

I agree that a softer drum sound would fit in nicely with the track. The vocal part is pretty wicked! it really stands out!
