So today I woke up with a weird feeling - if I would die tomorrow, what do I left behind???
What does really matters in life, and did I well in the end??? (yeah, I know it's depressing..... but hey, we shall all pass away some day)
Anyway, I was thinking of what shall be written on my tombstone, and composed these lines:

"Here lies a man
who was a guitar fan
He never learned those shredding licks
neither to get any decent chicks"

So now I'm looking forward to You guys submissions on the topic, even that its a little bit morbid..... tongue.gif

We Viennese are known for our morbid fascination (it´s perfectly normal for a standard viennese to take a long leisurely stroll at one of the large cementaries) and we have a few examples of cemetary humor in those epitaphs as well smile.gif

For example: "Tears can´t bring her back to life...thus I cry"

For my own epitaph I will probably choose something latin, just to annoy people. laugh.gif laugh.gif

I think I'd go for something like Spike Milligans....

"Told you I was ill"

For a tombstone I would have some sort of quote to sum it all up. Like this (Douglas Adams): "So Long and Thanks for All the Fish."

But even though I like the idea of a traditional burial, I can't help to think that it's a bit unimaginative.

I for one would like my remains to be scattered. Not burnt to ashes first. Just scattered. Preferably over some public location. That would get peoples attention.

I think that's an awesome idea! smile.gif

But alternatively, I might put something like this:

"Here lies a man who indeed has smelled it...
And here lies a man who indeed, Had dealt it"

i don't really care what the tomb says, (would be dead anyway), i just wanna leave something... that's probably my whole motivation on making music for large audiences and not making some trippy acid rock smile.gif
