Metallica was the first band i listened to that made me want to pick up a guitar around 10 years ago.I learned all the Metallica songs from Kill em ALL to Load.So whats your favorite Metallica song ?Are they a insperation to you on the guitar?/

Yes they are the best and thats also what got me playing... the intro riff from enter sandman was the first thing i ever learned.... but the best... seek and destroy

hmm... "Holier Then Thou" is one of my favorites from Black Album... and the first time i heard "The Thing That Should Not Be", it struck me as the heaviest song i had ever heard in my life. so i dig it. smile.gif

Hmm I play in a black metal band(have been alot of thrash involved latelly), but I mainly play blues and rock'n'roll when I'm not on band rehearsal.

Yeah, actually, since you're mentioning it. I did have some blues solos in my band, and it worked very well! I personally cant stand this "Blues Metal" thing, for me music got to have feeling, and of what I've heard from this genre its just plain boring. But with our style of black metal I think it fits great. We even had a song that was almost blues, I guess you could just call it old hard rock or something. But my band mates arent really into blues, jazz and that kind of stuff so they wont let me do solos anymore. Suppose I got to start some shredding biggrin.gif
