Check out the second song we managed to edit, out of the series shot for the 'Aitalent' Live Recording Sessions. I posted the first one some time ago, when I told you about the whole project - shortly, it's a joint venture of artists, raising money to help kids with the Down Syndrome.

We have two of these live clips ready so far:

Did any of you guys participate in such fundraisers or charitable events? If yes, what was the final goal?

Cosmin

One band I was in played a concert with a few other band for National Children's Home charity in England, I was young I was drinking JD in our portacabin before going on, luckily adrenaline kept me sober, that was until I put my guitar down at the end of our set and promptly fell off the stage. wacko.gif

HI ,

GREAT VIDEOS and a very emotional music Very Good done !

You can hear out and feel the energy of hope and strength - thats a real GOOD THING to do !!!
smile.gif

The money you get out of this work sure helps in a way

but from my opinion it is the

memorizing -- respect -- feeling -- and yes, love -- what makes the THING real

what let you do something like That

and shows the world/people that here are humans who are a part of us and this world who needs our

recognition respect energy and love - thats what makes them feel good and better .

GOOD ENERGY Cosmin and greetings to your friends !

Dieter

Every year I try to do about 10-15% of our work free, or at minimal cost, for charities or what we see as 'good causes'.

Final goal -
The charites etc are different so they have differing goals albeit that I tend to prefer ones that are based around issues like protecting animals/children, anti-discrimination, amnesty international, humanitarian aid, empowering the less well off/able. Good causes have included schools, musicians who live in developing countries, non-profit organisations, community groups/associations.

Final goal for me - I do it because I still believe in the Socialist ideal of 'from each according to their ability to each according to their need.'
Doesn't make me a better person, doesn't make me feel any better about myself but hopefully helps those in need.

Oh, and it annoys the hell out of my accountant cool.gif .
