Yngwie Style Bending, Lesson By Ben Higgins |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi friend!! This is a very good choice for you!
The technique is going well, but you need to be sure to focus your left hand movement on your wrist. That's the main secret to play bending and vibrato. I always like sharing this video to my students when covering vibrato and bending. Joe is the king of bends! Check out the first exercise and notice how he moves his left hand: The next step now is to gain more strength and be able to do the movement more regular and controlled. When working on bending and vibrato, I usually recommend to dedicate some time to play along with the instructor to emulate the techniques and some time to play alone with the backing. This is the best method to get the most of your time. Ok mate, congrats on your first REC take! Keep on the hard work! -------------------- My lessons
