This is a very cool solo mate! I like the relaxed feel during the verse and how it grows with the backing.

The chorus section has good ideas but I feel that it needs more polish there.

Great stuff!! Thanks!!

I find interesting the notes that you are playing, how this notes interact with the arpeggios that I've recorded, and the tone that you chose for your take. It adds a different vibes to the part. I can imagine that this could be the arrangement for this part the second time that it appears in the song.

Thanks Gab,

I sometimes think "interesting" is being used as a euphemism so I thought I'd ask wink.gif I've had to change the guitar only file for download, I made that video but put the wrong guitar file with it, it's only slight differences but I was wondering why I couldn't sync the audio and video perfectly rolleyes.gif I've put the right one there now, sorry buddy. I know I don't need to redo the video because you add the guitar track yourself don't you?

Nice take Tflava cool.gif

Thanks Gab,

In what way is it "interesting"?, I just did what I thought sounded good to me but it would be nice to know what you found interesting about it in musical terms wink.gif

The tone is straight out of TH-U Elusive Atmospheres bank and the patch is called Welcome In Heaven God-Like

I got a chance to sit down jam on this for about half an hour, fun track! Here's a few licks I'm feeling out for this one.

Wow! Very melodic and cool jam! What gear are you using to get the tone?

Hello friends!! This is a new mix with Vocals so maybe you can also add fills and arrangements around Kris singing. If you are not inspired to record solos, you can also record small arrangements or whatever comes to mind.

I really like it tflava! Now the whole thing sounds great! Many nice melodies. It starts very melancholic and then the chorus reminds me a bit to Maiden! Thanks a lot!!

Perfect! Just in case you like the idea, maybe you can add 3rd harmonics in some parts of the chorus... or I can do it later.

Yes i think its a good idea. In the beginning part that was originally my idea to write a melody in harmony with the backing part in Em 😁 but you dont hear that very well because the backing part is softer.

Can you say which parts you mean to play in Thirds? From which time till which time. And i think you mean that i play a second guitar in harmony Am i Wright? Not to play Double stops with one guitar

This is what I mean, but much quieter in the mix. I recorded two guitars, one harmonizing your melodies one octave higher, and other one that harmonized in thirds (which is not all the time).

If you like it, feel free to re-record it and change the things that you want! wink.gif

Hi, I've never participated in a collab before - is it fine to only add a small bit and not the full backing track part? This is what I have so far (the ending of the second part). Still need to work on the fast lick before shooting a video though smile.gif
