I've been here for a month or two now, and after honing my skills here I decided to learn and record a solo by my favorite band, Children of Bodom. I've actually been playing for a little over a year (started last spring) and I gotta say GMC has helped me improve so much with my alternate and sweep picking technique in the last few months, you guys are doing an awesome job.
