According to Wikipedia, Bucharest and Atlanta are sister cities. Sister cities are supposed to encourage trade between one another. So Todd, you can send Cosmin some chitlins, fatback, and bacon grease. Cosmin, you can send Todd a Romanian WASR AK-47... and send a Romanian cutie for me as well laugh.gif

After being a Yankee living in the South for five years, I'm still not entirely sure what they are blink.gif Actually, I just looked up what chitlins is, and apparently it is a very common dish served around the world. Its called "chitterlings," but after that word has been butchered by the southern accent its pronounced chit'lins biggrin.gif

HAHA biggrin.gif guys, our ladies are indeed the loveliest wink.gif too bad they are not all as rock'n'roll as most of us would desire, and for the southern stuff biggrin.gif I'd trade everything for an encounter with Atlanta's SEVENDUST biggrin.gif out of what I know they are from around there biggrin.gif

SEVENDUST are a killer band and are very down to Earth. Jackal is still kicking around here as well. Not to mention bands like Collective Soul, REM, etc. There is a HUGE university (University of GA) in Athens GA that has a really big music scene, although it's mostly about Indie Rock.

On the Metal Side of things, my old Bandmates in Caustic Thought are still on the scene here and are very close to a record deal finally! And my other bands mates in GNOSTIC got signed to Seasons of Mist a while back and put out their first CD. So the Metal Scene here is Alive and Well, just mostly underground. My pals in Gnostic play the HUGE festival gigs in Europe but when they play here in the states, it's sometimes 50 folks in a Skate shop.

When a woman is going to get married, it's the big party they all have.. for men it's called a 'Stag Do'. 'Do' (pronounced 'doo') is a slang word for party. 'Hen' is a female chicken and Stag is a male deer. smile.gif

They all go out, dressed stupidly, and with Stag Do's the cliche joke has always been that the guy who is getting married will end up chained to a lampost, naked... laugh.gif
