I'm always amazed of the fact that DIO has kept his voice in perfect conditions after all these years.
His voice is awesome.

Yes, it's amazing that Dio's voice is as good as it was 1957 when he started out.

He's born 1942.

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronnie_James_Dio

QUOTE
Dio's musical career began in 1957 when several Cortland, New York musicians formed the band The Vegas Kings, which soon changed their name to Ronnie and the Rumblers. This band's lineup had Padavona on the bass guitar, along with singer Billy de Wolf, guitarist Nick Pantas, drummer Tom Rogers, and saxophone player Jack Musci.

Wow Jeremy what a coincidence!

Man when I was in 6th grade, one of my friends gave me a compilation tape, and on that there was a song that I loved, and listened to over and over again, but I didnt know whose tune it was. After a while I lost that tape, and now I realise that it was actually Dio-Falling Off the Edge of The World! Now I will but that Black Sabbath album! He, he you rock man!

Cheers smile.gif
