Thomann is a great site to order from. Never had any problems with them. Here you can find all their tuners.

Be careful to ad to much effect pedals to your rig, the first thing you should spend your money on is a good guitar and a good amp. You can visit U Tube they have a lot of demonstrations of all kinds of effect pedals. http://se.youtube.com/results?search_query..._type=&aq=f

What kind of effects would you like to use mate? Usually the distortion/overdrive, wah wah pedal and delay pedals are among the first people buy when starting to build their effects board.
There are many distortion/overdrive effects out there and I can recommend Boss pedals for starters, here are some famous Boss distortion and overdrive pedals: DS1  SD1  MT2  You can find my gear tutorials on DS1 and SD1 here. Bare in mind that distortion and overdrive pedals should be used as booster pedals for tube amps, and these pedals are great for that (except MT2). Also guitar amps usually have better overdrive/distortion than pedals, so this is why when playing loud it is best to use the distortion/overdrive pedal only as a "booster" of OD channel on the amp. Another awesome overdrive/booster pedal is Ibanes Tubescreamer, here's an early version of it: TS808  Also Electro-Harmonics made some great pedals like: Big Muff:  Metal Muff:  As far as wah wah pedals, they will give your playing a new dimension and expression, wetter it is for some funky riffing, or for searing lead tone. you can choose between Dunlop, Morley, Ibanez, Vox and other models. I would say the most commonly used pedals are Dunlop Crybaby wah pedals, and you can check out my review on it here. Here's the picture of the original Crybaby pedal:  Delay pedals are also a good thing to have cause they add space to your sound, without sounding muffled as with reverb. Good for leads and some atmospheric playings. This pedal is very important if you don't have a reverb cause it can bring a whole new dimension to your sound. Here's a review of my DD20 Boss pedal to get you familiar with the things delay pedal can do. There is a whole array of good delay pedals that you can choose from, but again I recommend Boss for starters.
