There are not Gibsons made in china!

Those are blatand fakes and in most cases just a poor excuse for a guitar! Not only they try to fool you with the look, in most cases they are extremely cheaply made and not even playable. DON'T BUY THAT CRAP^^

That's the trick to it! They make them look like the original so that people get fooled into buying something that isn't worth it's money... now imagine you pay 3000$ because you though it was a Gibson and it turns out it is one of those...these guys are serious criminals!

In this case you pay for what you get, I mean they are cheaper than most starterkit guitars^^
I guess Ruben is on a hunt for a good guitar and I have yet to try a guitar that was >200$ and plays good...

But they are blatant copies, they even say *made in USA* on the back - if you are trying to sell one of those as a real one I guess you easily fool people into spending a lot more expecting the real deal!

Zakk is right, this is definitely a fraud. It's nothing unusual lots of companies do it, some with no, some with some, some with lots of support of main brands, but it's definitely a lucrative business. Just try to be an informed buyer and never buy a guitar online, try it first. That's my suggestion.

retailing at 129 GBP means it probably has about a tenth of that spent on it in actual raw material. My fence costs more than that! 'nuff said!

That said, some cheap models from China are actually quite nice guitars - for what you pay for them. For what it is, I recommend having a look at HK Vertrieb. Think it's a german company importing guitars from Hong Kong. You can get some cheap guitars (I think they also have more expensive models, mind you) for not so much money. If what you are looking for is exactly that and not a high-end guitar, I think it's not necesarily a bad buy. You just need to be aware of what it is you are buying!
