Hi Muris! biggrin.gif

As you know I have been working hard on some of your lessons, at the moment im putting around 1 and a half ahours a day into the speed bursts exercise as I feel it is superb in building up my technique! biggrin.gif

Im already quite fluid with pentatonic improvisation, and my 3 note per string technique is really starting to build up too!

I was wondering if you could recommened one of your lessons that might give me ideas on how to further branch out into the world of 3 note per string improvisation?

I was thinking maybe the upstroke focus one might be a good idea?

Many thanks smile.gif

Well Upstroke Focus surely has lots of 3nps patterns inside
tho it's focused on picking,but give it a try,why not. smile.gif

How about my first Alternate Picking Lesson?
It is bit tricky but there are slower backings as well so you'll be fine,
many 3nps chops there, bunch of arpeggios etc. wink.gif

No need to mention PG lesson biggrin.gif

Yes I think I will give either of those 3 a try, I will check out your first alternate picking exercise! I may do that then move onto the upstrokes lessons and/or the Paul Gilbert one.

Try these repetitive patterns, you can fill in the missing notes from the scales you want with the cells from here. As long as you know where all the notes are the fretboard, just choose root and construct the cells around them.
