Hello Hajduk! Welcome to our thread for Gab's Army! Here we will start a music journey together that I hope it brings lots of beautiful music and inspiration.
At first, I would like to know a bit more about you...
How many years have you been playing guitar?
Musical tastes? Styles, bands, artists?
Goals as guitarist and musician?
Experience with bands?
Have you ever composed a song?
What do you know about theory?
Which are your strong and weak points?
Could you please share here some videos or audios of you playing?
Hi Gab once again thank you for taking me on I have seriously been playing for the last 2 years. I am a product of the 80s as far as guitar playing goes, Favorite guitar players are Joe Satriani, Eddie Van Halen, Doug Aldrich, warren Demartini, George Lynch. Van Halen, Iron Maiden and Joe Satriani are my the bands I love most. I have only ever played with a couple bands but was just for fun in a studio. Composed some music years ago and as far as theory I have more than a basic understanding. Strong points, don't really know my lead playing and my bad is my rhythm.
Hi mate! Thanks for the videos and info. The first thing that I noted in your videos is that the guitar tone could be dramatically improved if you record your guitar with your computer and then replace the audio from your camera with a better sounding guitar track.
Here you can check some info about it:
I¿ve been thinking about your first task...
What about learning a new lesson that combines rhythm, with soloing, and try to record it with a better quality?
These are some suggestions based on your favorite styles:

Choose the one that you like more and go for it.
What do you think?
Hi Gab thank you for the suggestions. Really like all the lessons there and I actually did a take on the Van Halen style lesson by Muris. Will take a really good look at which lesson I will do There all awesome. As far as recording goes I do have a Focusrite 2i2 digital interface and Mixcraft software which I have always wanted to use but never do, I would imagine the audio would sound better on that?
That's where I get confused using my software. I know how to record and add the backing track but its the video that confuses me. The software I have Mixcraft you can add video afterwards, would like to work on the instrumental rock 4 by Piotor if that's OK.
Hi mate, I don't use this software, but I think that it would be a great idea to dedicate 25 minutes to watch this tutorials:
Thanks Gab Learned a lot on those vids.
Cool!
Bump!
