Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: John Frusciante Style Lesson by Gabriel Leopardi

I've posted this because I need more REC practice as I get very tense when recording for REC. Also I'm still trying to polish it and make it sound more natural which I struggle with when recording videos for judging. Cheers

Wow, excellent work, Phil

Bending and vibrato are really solid now, as is your timing. I gave you a 9 as the last phrases feel less fluid than the rest. The pauses between the notes sound a bit tentative. The left hand confidence is almost there but not quite. Other than that, you're on it!

Do not feel sorry for being tense while recording. We all know how it's like smile.gif and probably it will alwasy be this way. Anyway you get quite nice results and you look focused like a professional player being at the studio. It's truly getting better and better. there is a part of "fluency" hard to explain and to spot in particular things to tweak. It just comes with years of playing practice and maybe this is why we still feel this take could be even better, yet we know there could be something missing that you will develope in the future. Good job!
