Hi Ricky! Cool one! I like the vibe of this composition. The feeling here is similar to the one generated on Laurent's tune. It seems that you both get a similar vibe from this image. This one is more focused on lead guitar which is also cool, maybe less "soundtrack" style but more like a solo guitar album... great work!

Also, the overall sound/mix on this one is better. smile.gif

I don't know the film but from the picture he doesn't look like he is going to be attacked, more like the birdman thing is like a monkey on his back or an albatross around his neck, so I came up with a little single track piece that kind of sounds like he has something troubling him. I didn't want to make it too dark though.

Great idea Phil! Your guitar effect fits great with the situation as well as the melodies created. I have seen the movie, (I strongly recommend it) and I can say that your idea could be included on its soundtrack.

The great thing is that this picture has maken you experiment with sound, and has been an inspiration to create fresh music. It's a very interesting experiment.

Hey Laurent! This is a very interesting composition. It's a good idea to use tremolo as an expressing tool, it gives this a suspense feel. I also enjoyed the solo at the end.

The next step would be to polish your playing on this one. The main problem is timing. When using rhythmic effects (like delay and tremolo), you have to be very careful with the timing of what you are playing, if you don't go even with the beat, the effect won't go tight with the backing. This happens in many sections of this one.

The solo also has timing issues, and be careful with the bend.

If you polish timing, and adjust a bit the mix, this tune is appropriated to be published. Maybe with a youtube video, to start showing your music to the world. smile.gif

Cool one Ricky!! I love what happens in the background. The backing track creates a very interesting atmosphere that works as a very good background for your solo. This is top level as always! Thanks for your input friend.
