GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ How Is Sarajevo This Time Of The Year?

Posted by: Keilnoth Jul 7 2009, 08:35 AM

I still have a lot of holidays to spend this year. I thought it could be cool to visit Sarajevo.
Is there anything to do and to see there?

I've seen a lot of great pictures (and some other not that great) but as you're living there you are of better advice.

And perhaps I could get some live guitar lesson? wink.gif

You have lot of things to see in Sarajevo, and any time in the year has some benefits. Sarajevo is like small Jerusalem because of different cultures that are met on one place. As you maybe know it was olympic city in 1984. Mountains are great, in this time of year you can walk, and in winter you can ski. Major summer event in city is Film Festival that is in august.

Nice place to see for sure. Muris can show you a couple of interesting things.

Those "not so great pictures" are pretty much the past only,
Sarajevo is shining again and there are many cool things to see here.
Nadir said it right, it's like small Jerusalem in the heart of Europe,
spot where East meets West, kind of. smile.gif

As Muris said there a lot of stuff to see here, depending on your interest smile.gif

When do you plan to come to Sarajevo, if I will be in the city at the time I'll be happy to show you around smile.gif

No planning for now... I have some work to do before I go. But perhaps during September or late in August.

When I go there I usually don't see much. I just meet Muris and the rest is history smile.gif
