GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ My Punk Band Public Order Act

Posted by: norules Dec 13 2013, 10:48 PM

hi mates this is some songs of my band public order act. we started on 1st January this year and have worked really hard. it's my first ever band and im really happy with our achievements so far. these are some of the first songs i wrote. I've taught myself guitar largely thanks to gmc so i thought i'd share the few videos from our gigs this year. we are an underground punk band with other influences and we are what we are, i appreciate its not to everyone's taste including the politics. cheers and thanks for providing a wicked platform to learn to play music :-)

one day i'll learn to put a proper link in a forum ha ha

You sound like an honest punk rock band... congratulations on your first steps man! Keep on the hard work and we will hear from you in Argentina soon. You live in England, everything you do can suddenly become global. All the best friend!

I enjoyed them not least as they reminded me of some of the gigs I went to when I was a teenager.

I also personally agree with your politics and sentiments particularly on the EDL track smile.gif . Again it reminds me of great times with the ANL, Rock against Racism and so on.

Thanks very much guys!

We've just arranged to go to manchester on the 20th june to record our 1st album with pumpkin records. never recorded before so bit nervous and very excited. i also put my strat in the shop today for a set up as well so it should be sounding sweet for recording. i'll post the songs once they are done for some feedback.

Great to see you're in a band and already doing it live too. Nothing beats that feeling of doing it for real - well done !

Good stuff although I was hoping to hear the singer singing and shouting with a bristol accent!
