Once again I got inspired by Marcus Lavendell's playing, and so I had to quickly learn Amberdawn yesterday and record a take. I know it's very inappropriate to record a take of a song which I only know half of poorly... Still, I will use this as a reference for my next upload of the song !

Any comment greatly appreciated, although I am fully aware of horrible synch between audio and video, mistakes etc.

Hi Alex,
Your song choice is great I love this track and you did a great job Yngwie is never easy and your sound was pretty spot on too, the only comment I would make ( In my humble opinion) is your vibrato when you get to the top end probably needs to be more pronounced and wider, apart from that I wanted you to carry on.
As I would like to attempt this are you able to point me to the BT and Tabs as I am a Yngwie fan also.
Tony

Thank you Tony ! smile.gif I am working on my vibrato, and I'm not surprised you noticed... biggrin.gif In a matter of fact, I could post the tabs and backing track under the video in the main post... smile.gif I'll post it in the original version (tuned 1/2 step down) and you can change the tuning in GP5. The backing is in standard tuning, so you won't need to retune your guitar... smile.gif

No problem Tony ! smile.gif

If you are going to practise the song, I recommend checking out Marcus Lavendell's channel, where his most recent video is a take of Amberdawn, but the full song, including solos etc. smile.gif

https://www.youtube.com/Lavendell

Enjoy ! biggrin.gif

Thanks again Alex.
Any ideas why Marcus went away early this year then came back and now gone again? I liked his stuff.
