Bending Strings And Squeeling

when you bend your strings in some of your rock solos and you make the note squeel is it a matter of what distortion you are using or is it something else. And on some of your rhcp solos you can get a long sustain when bending your srtings yet mine seem to cut out quit quickly when at the peek of the bend again is it a sertain pedal i need to make them last longer . thanx from a neewbie . love your lessons THEY ROCK

What Guitar For Beginners ( For Rock , Metal Etc )

i have an I axe 393 behinger whitch i can plug into my pc and use my headphones and get some cool effects whith amplitube 2 , i really like the look of the ibaneze guitars although i couldnt afford any more than 300 quid are they good to play or should i go for somthng else . any help before i go and buy somthing not suitable

String Bending In Solos

i have only been playing for a couple of months on my electric guitar , so i am just really starting out .when i try to do small solos with bending in them i keep getting the strings above my bent string ringing out aswell when i release the bent string how do i stop this. any help thanx scott
