Am I doing the exercise right? I feel like I'm doing something wrong.
I Think I don't mute the strings, the 3rd one I believe, but even though I feel like that I have no idea how to stop it, not even after wtaching Pavel's Sweeping Basics

dude you are way too fast... always practice arps. with your metronome!
you problem is with your left hand.. try to hit every note clearly. add speed later. cheers |

One more things to add if I may.

But if you change the angle of the pick too much you might find it very difficult to execute.
