After reading FretDancer's post here https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...amp;#entry81060

and viewing the videos on youtube (plus any other media you may have read)

are you a believer?

Thanks FretDancer for opening my eyes to this- I'm interested as to how many of you believe this theory......

Completely fictional.
Give me any one of their arguments and I will only be too happy to explain how flawed they are.

I think the only reply I can give is that theres no way to be ready when this happens. Just gonna have to deal......

I do respect peoples beliefs in what might be true and what might happen tho.

"Nope, just another fanatical truth" was my vote! Take it easy about all this talking and enjoy the guitar wink.gif No point in thinking about it because you can't change a thing and you are only getting nervous about it.

WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!

Very true Robin, it's even more certain then taxes. At some point or other we will all die - even the Paris Hiltons of this world who invest in cryogenics will die some time wink.gif.

For some the issue becomes how they die/the nature of their death; for others the more important issue is how you live your life knowing this certainty.

There's an interesting novella by Maurice Blanchot concerning a person who essentially misses out on his own death at the hands of a fireing squad only to end up in a state of limbo: having cheated life he found he had lost life.

Cheers,
Tony

It's very much fiction, the theories presented in the video are easily debunked. We would sooner rip each other apart then have some huge planet stop our rotation.

I voted "Just another fanatical truth". But in reality, it doesn't matter.

The way you die isn't what you should we worrying about, it's how you lived. We are all going to die someday, what we leave behind is what really matters. That is something you do have the ability to change.

The only thing alive in the end is a memory of what once was.

I'm just hoping that, if there is a heaven, or some form of afterlife, my dog is there. The cute little guy probably will never see it coming, but as long as he doesn't suffer, I'm happy.
