Hi Guys,
A few nights ago I hung out with a Busker in Ljubljana-Slovenia. I spent a fair while listening and was just so intriged by his guitar and how he played it! It just totally blew me away! He was playing a 12 string Chapman Stick, A hybrid of a bass and a guitar. Its played in a similar way as a piano, one hand for melodys the other for acompaniment. I found a video of some of his playing whichs shows some interesting ways to play the instrument. His name is Eiiha Levy seems to be somewhat known in the world, he was also a really nice down to earth guy!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdH9wUFCDfU

So im Curious,
What does everyone think of the instrument and or his playing?
Does anyone own one or played one!??
Any random comments!!!

I like how it's called a "Stick". It couldn't have been called "Chapman Guitar", it had to be a "Chapman Stick".

It must be a pain to buy strings and tune up.

Hi Tmmy, I have never heard of such a thing before as a chapman stick. The performance on the video is awsome. Such mastery of the instrument and great tone and execution. THank you for sharing this.!

It's all legato. If I played this at least I wouldn't get bogged down in atternate picking

Nick Beggs from the 80's band Kajagoogoo is a master of the Chapman Stick, he was one of the first to endorse it I beleive
