This band has been broken up for a while now, which is a shame cause this is one the best melodic death metal bands I have ever heard.

But I did read something about a band called Eyetrap with an old Ebony Tears member that supposedly sounds similar. I'm not sure if Eyetrap has released anything yet but, if they sound like this I need to check them out.

I got there albums "Handful of Nothing" and "Torture Insomniae", Pretty heavy and awesome stuff. There singer Johnny Wranning is in the band eyetrap doing vocals for them, but I think there on Hiatus or something, I dont think they have released an album since 2005, But im not sure. Either way I prefered Ebony Tears over Eyetrap, But both are still pretty good.

This sounds like an In Flames clone.

Yeah, at least one song sounds like Moonshield but I still think both songs are cool, it's similar but no way a clone.

Quite nice 90's melodic death. Will most certainly listen more to them. smile.gif
