Not as much of a legend as EVH but everyone knows the two songs below, or at least the first one. He formed The Spencer Davis group in Birmingham UK with Steve WINWOOD IN 1963.

I just heard. Bummer.
He and I shared the same guitar repair man. He lived on a small island off the coast of Los Angeles, Catalina Is. He would bring an axe or two in for repair when he came to the mainland.

They were a huge band back in the day. Their big album went 7X platinum! Everyone on earth has probably heard their big song at least once. I've heard it in department stores and grocery stores even.
