You could dampen the D string with the finger you fret the A string with. Sort of still strum it but kill all sound.
Or you could maybe pick it with your ring finger. Do you mean that the strings rattle against the frets, right, not the fretboard huh? Raise the action or add more "backwards bend" on the neck. -------------------- My bands homepage

Hello mate, what do you mean by vibrating? I'm not sure if I got it properly, but maybe your strings are to close to fretboard?

You have to mute the A string with some of the fingers from the left hand. Try to mute it from bellow with finger that you fret teh D string.
Also check out my muting tutorial for some advices. Cheers mate -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE

I believe you are experiencing fret buzz, a little buzz is ok, but too much that it kills the note is a problem, you need to take the guitar to a tech to set it up, or you can do it yourself, but if you a new to guitar I wouldn't recommend it, what needs to be done is adjust the action by finding a perfect combination of neck relief and bridge height, so that you have nice playable action and no fret buzz Oh ok so it's normal? its a light buzz just if my amp is soft it's irritating THanks You have to mute the A string with some of the fingers from the left hand. Try to mute it from bellow with finger that you fret teh D string. Also check out my muting tutorial for some advices. Cheers mate Ah wicked Thanks a lot -- I'll mess with your lesson now thanks loads -------------------- |
