Hello GMCers,

I need to practice some 3 string sweeping. I know that Ben has in his lesson notes a nice 3 string sweep exercise but I would like to have more such exercises. Can anyone direct me to a good GMC lesson that focuses on this?

Thanks smile.gif
O.

Hey! Check this one out. Its not all 3 string patterns but it has a long run of 3 string sweeping.

Thanks a lot Gab!! Those lesson notes will be very helpful. I think before tackling your GMC lesson I will first try to master those exercises because I looked at your lesson and there is no way I can play those sweeps up to speed at the moment tongue.gif

Thanks for the help! smile.gif

Good decision. Concentrate on playing the arpeggios slowly and clear, the speed come with practice and repetitions. If you are patient and practice this every day you will surely master this. wink.gif

Thanks Gabriel. I started doing that. Everyday I practice. Although I changed your lesson a bit. It is a bit too slow at the moment. So I play the first exercise as it is and the rest I play as if they are 2 4ths instead of 4 4ths. I start with 60bpm and my target is 120 bpm.

I will let you know how it progresses smile.gif

Perfect Mert! That's the idea, use the different sections as isolated exercises. Keep me updated about the progress and let me know if you need some help. smile.gif
