I (re)discovered Gary Moore this week. Long time I didn't listen to any of his songs. But now I cannot stop listening to them.

Can't wait !
Blues is cool when you feel it with a bit of nostalgia and sadness.
Gary Moore is awesome, one of the best guitarists ever
I have liked him since my father introduced me to him when I was around 7 years old..
We got to see him live as well many years ago, that was great
Gary is great, very aggressive player, and his playing is very intense. If you want some real blues, check out old guys as well, like Muddy Watters, Howlin Wolf etc.
I love Gary, if only he would play some heavier stuff again
Gary Moore is brilliant, I`ve always been a fan of his more heavier music, and like Marcus I wish he`d go back to it again, if only for one album or something
I love his playing too which is why I'm going to see him play tomorrow night
removed! wrong thread!
Gary Moore is my Hero as well! I saw him in 2007 - it was awesome show!

One of the biggest infuences for sure. I learned so much from his phrasing. His songwriting skills are also top level.
And I would just add his singing too, amazing.
He was great in Thin Lizzy too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=473tyE8bI0w&feature=related is some great live audio of him and Scott Gorham with Brian Downey.
I love his stuff and I'm very sad I had to miss his concert when he was playing here
Gary has amazing tone feel and aggressive approach. I heard many stories from my teacher and friend Iain Scott at London GI regarding him
Well - I got to see and hear him live the other night. I've got some of his CDs and have heard them played through top of the range audio equipment but nothing compares to hearing that sweet tone live! The warmth, crunch, sustain.. that TONE! I now want a Marshall, a Les Paul and his fingers
Gary!!!! I love him! He was the man who made me pick up the guitar! He is, and will probably always be my #1 influence!
I especially love his album Dirty Fingers! It's perfection on a 12cm in diameter circular disc!
Would be cool if he would play some shows with Thin Lizzy again
I have an Irish guitar teacher (that isn't too good a teacher in my opinion), so he just had to show me Gary Moore I love "The Loner" !
