GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ My Introduction

Posted by: OsbourneOzzyFan May 29 2014, 07:14 AM

Hey, GMC.
I've been playing the electic guitar for 2 years now, and I'd say I'm at level 3.
However, I'm much better at the classical guitar.
I'm very much into metal. Ozzy Osbourne is my hero, and Black Sabbath is my second religion.
I have a vintage guitar and a marshall amp. (Don't know the model)
I really wanna get very good at the guitar (lvl. 7)

Wellcome at GMC man! Did You start any classes on classical guitar when You started ? Just asking because that's what I did - started with classical first and I remember I've learned a lot of useful stuff even if it was not a metal smile.gif As usual We would like to ask You to post some vids of You playing. That would help a lot to prepare teaching program and advice proper lessons smile.gif Have a good time in our community smile.gif

Yes, I started at an early age, and I took classes. I don't know if it's against copyright if I post videos of GMC's solos. Is it?

Welcome to GMC! smile.gif

No, it is not against copyrights if you post your takes on the GMC lessons. In fact - we strongly encourage you to do it! smile.gif

We have a program on the site called REC, more info here: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_forum/index.php?showtopic=40697

It allows you to post your video takes on the lessons and get feedback from the instructors which will help you make progress.
You should try it out or just post your videos here in the practice room part of the forum for feedback.

Please let me know if you need any help with the site or anything GMC related? smile.gif

See you around the forum!

Hello man!! That's a cool nickname! Ozzy Rocks as well as Black Sabbath!!

This is my tribute to them: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guitar/black-sabbath-style-lesson/

As Bogdan said, it would be great if you post some videos of you playing GMC lessons. We will be able to give you feedback and maybe to start a mentoring program to suggest guitar plans and lessons.

What lessons do you have in mind?

Welcome to GMC ! I was obsessed with Ozzy and his music when I was growing up.

I do a video chat every Tuesday, 7pm GMT.. at the moment we're working our way through this giant lesson http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/30-Misplaced-Shredders/

We usually look at technical licks and we go off on random directions all the time.. you're welcome to come along and join in
