Seriously, I use pandora. What I do is pick a favorite artist that I really enjoy listening to, like for example I have a Gary Moore channel, and it plays quite a bit that I am already familiar with, but also throws in similar artists and sounds. I found out about Snowy White the other day from that channel. Similar blues based sound, but very different from Gary Moore. I have found quite a few new artists from various genres using this method.

I also listen to Pandora. It's totally the way to go if you want to explore new music. I just love it
