Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Fingerstyle Blues Patterns by Nicola Mandorino

Hello everyone,

After about 2 years of not playing guitar at all i decided to give it a go again at guitarmasterclass.
I normally only played electric guitar with a pick, so this was quite something different to start out with again.
I recorded this take in 2 sessions.

For the recording i used a Line 6 POD studio GX and with it pod farm 2.0 into Audacity.
I noticed that the volume i was getting from my guitar was really low compared to the backing track
so i had to put a +20dB gain on it in Audacity. Even with that it sounds a bit low...

Let me know what you think.

-Jasper
